This hybrid is the best of both worlds. The Polymorph body design offers the sought after tonal characteristics of Aluminium and perfectly partners them with a stunning 1 piece T-Type maple neck . The arched top and filleted edges contribute to all round comfort. A superb brushed Aluminium hand finish is protected by a thin, natural clear coat. This finish is barely noticeable visually or to the touch but provides good protection to scuffs and scratches.
The Polymorph is loaded with 2 of our Tikka Terror Humbucker pickups. Simple yet powerful tone shaping is achieved with the 3 position mini switch, volume and bass roll off controls. Our bass roll off circuit is particularly effective when you need to clear up and cut through a mix with an overdriven sound. This potent recipe provides a diverse sonic range, suitable for harmonically rich cleans or that sweet, sweet drive sound.
The neck is a 1 piece maple, timeless “T-Type” affair in a comfortable Modern C shape with a stripe down the back for good measure. The satin finish is achieved using a dark oil. Visually, it’s stunning but more importantly, it makes the neck feel like it been played in and loved for many years. Super duper smooth. To top it off, the headstock is adorned with our Alien mascot, Gotoh staggered locking tuners, a roller string tree and a black graphite nut.
Aerospace grade 6082 Aluminium is used for each Polymorph body.
